Procrastinating with a Meme!

I have been tagged by Lulu from Cherry Blossom Adventures to do this meme!

Outside my window… is the most beautiful and clear autumn sky. Not a cloud in sight. It is beautiful to look at from the warmth of the living room, but outside it is a nice nippy 15 degrees.
I am thinking… about the translations and documents I need to work on today, and how easily distracted I am. Today procrastination is my best friend!
I am thankful for… my family, friends and most of all for Mr. Nemo, who makes me laugh with his goofy antics, his unconditional support and love, his laid back attitude that calms my impulsive spirit, and his loving care when I am sick.
From the kitchen… there are no smells or sounds, only the clean dishes still sitting in the dishwasher from last night’s dinner (salmon steaks, cabbage and bacon soup, served with green vegetables and white sauce).
I am wearing… navy yoga pants and a grey long-sleeved top (working from home today, and loving the fact that I can escape the suit and make-up today)
I am creating… an exercise plan that starts tomorrow, a list of cleaning and organizing to do around the house this weekend, a library of Grey’s Anatomy episodes that include season 5, and a master plan to quit my job and go freelance!
I am going… to a JAT (Japan Translators Association) conference tomorrow and hope to pick up some useful information that will help me get my freelance translation business off the ground early next year. I am so excited about this conference and the timing is perfect!!
I am reading…“Losing Kei” which T from TJKR in Japan sent over to me 2 days ago. Thanks T! I started reading it last night and am already half way through the book.
I am hoping… that we can catch up with a number of old friends in Tokyo over the next few weeks before Christmas. It has been way too long since we have seen some of them and it is crazy how the days pass by and then you realize it has been months!
I am hearing… the news on TV in the background. Stabbings, hit and run incidents, contaminated foods, and other depressing news. Japan is just not as safe as it used to be.
Around the house… is clean but needs a bit of a tidy up… At least all the laundry is done, but I think a tidy-up is in order for the weekend.
One of my favorite things…is playing the “shovel car game” everyday with the Mr.
A few plans for the rest of the week… a walk along the river, get some photos of the autumn leaves this year (photographing the leaves is something I do every year), do some tidying around the house, have a meal with Mr. Nemo’s mum, watch season 6 SATC DVDs, write a list of nengajyo recipients and addresses, and attend the JAT conference.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing… i took this pic in Shinjuku gyoen a year or so ago. I love the depth of this shot.
